light weight but sturdy enough

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

after taking a decently spooky crash I decided to pony up for a full face. I've taken crashes since and I feel like it's been nice but I haven't felt like it's prevented me from getting more hurt since the crashes were minor. it is light and breathable which I love it's easy enough to pedal uphill. it fits goggles or sunglasses in pretty easily and the brim provides good shade . For some reason, I get the feeling that this full face isn't quite as safe as other brands but I have no proof.

This is a really good fit, light and good airflow. I now feel I can let it rip a bit more on the DH runs!

Great Helmet (esp. 4 warmer climates!)

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

In summary, this is a great helmet for the price range. I bought it because it offers good protection for the price as it is downhill certified to ASTM F1952 ? 15 standards. Additionally, this helmet is really well ventilated. I have already used it on some Texas trails this summer, and it keeps me nice and cool here in the summer (as much as I can in the Texas heat). Buying Tips: BE SURE TO CHECK THE SIZING CHART on the manufacturer's website. In most helmets, I wear a size large. However, according to these sizings, I wear a size small. The sizing chart is correct because a size small fits me perfectly. Also BACKCOUNTRY, please update the IMPACT FOAM description of this product. I can confirm that this helmet does not use the "SERT (Seven Energy Reduction Technology)" as listed. After talking with the manufacturer, SERT is only available on the Fiberglass & Carbon versions of the helmet, not the ABS one here.

Great helmet for the price

Familiarity:

I have not been out riding with this helmet to often but so far no problems. It is not as heavy as I expected it to be especially for the price. The head measurement worked out fine for me.
