Cobrafist Pogie

45NRTH caters to only one discipline of riding, crafting clothing and accessories for cold weather fat bike riding. It knows what it takes to stay warm when conditions are at their worst and the Cobrafist Pogie is one piece of gear you'll be glad you have when temps hover around -25 to 0-degree Fahrenheit. The pogies are constructed from an abrasion, wind, and water resistant 600d poly outer shell and feature PrimaLoft Gold Eco 400 gm for maximum insulation. A lock-on bar end attachment system helps keep the pogies in the correct position and it includes a foam donut that seals the handlebar and cable closures. Water-resistant zipper vents on top and bottom provide temperature regulation and let you drop heat quickly when things get too warm. Pull tabs inside and out make for easy adjustments while the weather guard keeps unwanted snow out. An inner pocket makes it easy to carry and access food and gear while enjoying a winter wonderland.

Wish I bought these years ago!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I used to commute in all kinds of weather but didn't think I needed these--they always looked like overkill to me. They are very easy to install and remove, and they can be folded down at the cuff and vented for some of the unseasonably warm weather we've had in the northeast this winter. I've ridden with them down into the high 30's with 10-15 mph winds with just wool gloves and my hands stayed warm. No problem getting in and out quickly, and, as long as you are familiar with your cockpit controls, no problem braking, shifting, or operating e-bike levels.
