MCS Elite Compression Arm Guards

Calf muscles seem to get all the focus from compression gear, but the muscles in your arms can benefit just as much from the improved circulation and support that compression can deliver. 2XU provides you with the opportunity to show your arms some love with the MCS Elite Compression Arm Guards, specifically designed to reduce fatigue and improve recovery time after hard arm workouts. Whether you're cross-training to build upper body strength or doing endless tennis ball drills in the pool for your forearm stroke, the arm guards will add support while remaining breathable and quick-drying. 2XU even constructed them to be left and right-specific, so you can be sure you're getting targeted compression where you need it.

Good support

These compression sleeves offer good support. The only flaw is that they don't stay up on your arms as well as they should.

Supportive, but Tends to Roll

Overall these feel amazing when I put them on. My one complaint is that the top band doesn't have enough to keep them up on my arms and they roll down with moderate activity.

Firm fitting support

I've been a believer in the benefits of compression clothing for several years. First noticed the added support and comfort with cycling shorts. Last year I tried the 2xu compression T-shirt to help with shoulder and back issues, and now, I wouldn't ride without one as a base layer. Even in Florida heat and humidity, the wicking effect keeps me at least as cool as I would be with just a light jersey. Now, having developed an elbow pain for no known reason, I decided to add these arm compression sleeves to the mix. Totally met with my expectations. I feel like my body is encased in a flexible exoskeleton, taking much of the strain away from my muscles and joints. As an added bonus, they have a UPF rating of 50+ for sun protection. Like the T-shirt, they are not thermal. They wick well, so they actually keep me cooler and more comfortable by eliminating sweat. I used them this year for skiing, too, and enjoyed the extra protection from twists and strains. To maintain fabric compression, I always wash in cold water with Woolite. Delicate cycle, slow spin. Hang dry.
