Why We Like The Status Helmet

The 100% Status Helmet borrows technology from its top-tier compatriot, the Aircraft, to deliver lightweight function at a cost that lets you drop in with some cash left in the bank to refuel at the end of the run. 100% has been long known for its goggles and eyewear, and the Status marks a further expansion of the brand's expertise into the full-faced, DH-focused dome protection game.

100% crafts the shell using fiberglass that balances low weight and cost while retaining the strength needed to weather the bumps. It features the same Active Cooling System found in the Aircraft, which 100% credits with providing better ventilation than any other downhill helmet on the market, so protection doesn't come at the cost of comfort. A washable, anti-odor liner adds to the comfort with stink-fighting functionality and a soft feel against the skin.

  • Full-face DH helmet ready for lift-accessed sends
  • Light shell belies impressive durability
  • Efficient venting keeps airflow moving
  • Soft liner and removable cheek pads for comfort
  • Adjustable visor provides shade while blocking branches
  • Compatible with emergency release systems

Seems neat, visor bolts snapped

I returned this product before using it
Runs small

Cool helmet, fit is somewhat small. Ultra flimsy visor bolts that were all snapped on arrival. (edit: bought a replacement! Which also arrived with... snapped visor bolts.)

Same! Just received mine and the visor was broken off in the box (box and overpack looked fine.)

Exact same thing happened here. Bolts snapped off and floating in the box.

Dome Saver

I've put it through the wringer

Definite bang for your buck with this helmet. Great protection if you are looking for a full face that won't break the bank. The adjustable visor is awesome to have when riding the lift back to the top, there is enough room to lift your goggles up as well.

Well built!

I have only tried it on so far, but this is one nice helmet! Seems to be very well built, plenty light, and it is very comfy! If you are looking for a dedicated DH/ enduro helmet, go with this!

Awesome look, didn't fit my dome!

I have never been any other size besides a Med in any helmet. All Smith, Poc and Fox helmets are all Meds for me and have generally felt great. This helmet left an odd amount of space on my forehead and bottom/back of the head... and the coverage overall felt off, like the helmet didn't actually sit on my head properly. The tough thing about this is most heads are shaped very differently. For reference, I don't think I have an oval shaped head, rather more round, and as far as hats go I usually like a shallow hat, so if you have a larger overall shape this may work well. Just fit very odd for me. Hope that helps! My head measurement is 57cm.

Same! the shape also didn’t work for me, big space at the crown. Never had this kind of fit issue with a helmet before. Also the Baskerville color is nothing like the BCNTRY pics. The top is neon orange creamsicle, not gold. It is a nice helmet otherwise.

Does this helmet's chin bar look relatively small compared to other helmets? I have tried on the medium and it fits well, but the chin bar feels really short, small, and silly looking. thank you

Awesome Helmet! Cool and Comfy... But...

True to size

I just got the 100% Status D-day white in today from Competitive cyclist, First I'd like to point out that out of the box and bag my helmet was a bit dusty/dirty but doesn't appear to be used(I think). Followed the size chart of 100% but decided to go a size larger, I must admit I have a big head and chubby cheeks, Upon unboxing the helmet would not fit with the cheek pads attached, but when I remove the pads it fits perfectly on my head but rendering it somewhat useless because the cheek pads aren't attached. I managed to fit it with the cheek pads but couldn't stand how tight it is. Some brands offer two sizes of pads but 100% does not. That's the only complaint I have. And also the ridiculous shipping charge on 100 percent's website for a thinner pair of pads. $20 pad kit and the shipping cost that the site offers is $25 for UPS GROUND. Ridiculous. Again I admit I have chubby cheeks, but they should at least consider providing multiple thickness of pads for the status, would be perfect then.

Awesome Helmet, Killer Price

I've used it several times

With many full-face helmets coming in at $400+, the Status is an absolute steal. My two most recent full-faces have been the Troy Lee Designs D3 carbon and the POC Coron. Both are incredible helmets that fit well, have plenty of ventilation, and style for days. That being said, for less than half the cost, I'm thrilled with the Status. It is lightweight, comfortable, and so far seems to be just as well built as the other helmets mentioned. Match it up with a pair of 100% goggles for a completely dialed fit. Very impressed with this product from 100% and would highly recommend.

So far so good

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just got this a couple days ago and haven't ridden with it but it is nice and comfortable. Seems like the vents will let plenty of air in. Sizing chart is correct as well

Great Brain Bucket

I've used it several times

This is an excellent helmet, especially for the price you pay... at first it seems a little bulky, but after a little while riding, you hardly know its there.

Legit Helmet

I've used it several times

The Status is a solid helmet. For me it's all about comfort and protection and this helmet delivers on both. Padding feels good (dense) and is thick enough to relieve pressure points. The size (S) status helmet was spot on with my new era 5150 size (7). Looks, style, comfort, protection.... the status has it all.
