Ultra Tri Speed Men's Tank

Let's not kid ourselves, when it comes to race day, we're all after the same thing -- speed. However, as we're sure you know, training is only able to get us so far. Afterwards, comfort and technology provide the winning edge. To achieve this, Zoot's Ultra Tri Speed Tank incorporates Zoot's very best technology, fabrics, and fit capabilities. The end result? Speed over land and through the water.

Starting with the bulk of the Ultra Tri Tanks's construction, Zoot used its venerable ULTRArevo with an HP Speed Finish. We'll break this title down into two categories, given that ULTRArevo is the fabric and HP Speed is the treatment. So, starting with the former, this material was implemented for its supportive knit structure. Featuring a compressive fiber weight and structured knit, ULTRArevo is supports the muscle groups without a feeling a constriction. Accordingly, by lessening the fatigue-inducing effects of road vibration and run impact, you're able to retain a higher threshold throughout the land legs of your race. Additionally, this fabric is highly breathable and it also efficiently manages moisture.

As for the HP Speed Finish, this treatment places a priority repelling water. So, in other words, it's engineered to be hydrophobic. In fact, it's developed on a fiber by fiber basis, where each yarn is isolated and a barrier is created around it. Accordingly, water is thoroughly repelled, increasing your speed and comfort through the water. And, just as importantly, this finish directly equates to a quick dry post-T1. Even better, when combined with the high-gauge construction of ULTRArevo, the material becomes resistant to both sand and pilling.

In terms of fit, the Ultra Tri Speed was design with racing in mind. To achieve this, Zoot incorporated its proprietary stitching, SeamLink. This technique minimizes the stitch profile along the seams, providing a next-to-skin fit that nearly eliminates the risk of chafing and abrasion. Additionally, you'll find that the arm openings are inset as to permit a complete range of motion for the swim, the saddle, and the run.

For training purposes, Zoot engineered the material to be chlorine-resistant. And for race day purposes, it also features a UPF 50+ level of protection. Additionally, you'll find that there are no pockets in the top's construction, and that Zoot included a 10-inch front zipper for on-the-fly ventilation.
