Ultra Tri BCRF 6in Women's Shorts

Relying on Zoot's proven fabrics and tri-specific fit, the new Ultra Tri BCRF 6in Women's Shorts represent the perfect blend of comfort and support. And now, with the BCRF (Breast Cancer Research Foundation) collection, you're able to help spread awareness to others about the fight against breast cancer. Along with its annual donation to the foundation, Zoot wanted to create a collection of apparel that would represent the fight for the cure.

For the majority of the Ultra Tri shorts' construction, Zoot incorporated a sublimated and Italian-sourced Tavolara fabric, which is composed of a 210g blend of polyester and spandex. You're probably wondering where it ranks in comparison to the standard Performance Endura material? Well, you'll find that this fabric places more of an emphasis on moisture management, comfort, and breathability than the supportive focus of the Endura. As a result, the Ultra Tri shorts' construction is slightly more flexible and far more effective at transferring moisture away from the skin. This means that your range of motion is narrowly increased, and your level of dry, cooling comfort is heightened.

Zoot's BIOwrap is oriented at the hem, and it features a 240 denier spandex composition. Accordingly, its fiber weight and resulting knit structure create a highly-compressive level of support, shielding your muscles from oscillation and road vibrations. This means that the fabric's hold lessens muscle fatigue, thus extending your muscle endurance and bolstering your threshold. Additionally, this design eliminates the need for leg grippers, thoroughly increasing your comfort level over the course of a race.

In terms of fit, the Ultra Tri shorts were designed with racing in mind. To achieve this, Zoot incorporated its proprietary stitching, SeamLink. This technique minimizes the stitch profile along the seams, providing a next-to-skin fit that nearly eliminates the risk of chafing and abrasion. Welded leg hems permit a complete range of motion for the swim, the saddle, and the run. Additionally, Zoot finished off the shorts with a draw cord at the inside of the waist panel to secure the shorts' fit.

Furthering this level of comfort, Zoot included its women's-specific Integra SBR 1D chamois. This insert features a minimalist construction to provide enough support for the bike leg without inhibiting comfort in either the swim or run. And because of the swim, Zoot also designed the Integra to be water-resistant and quick-drying.

The Zoot Ultra Tri BCRF 6in Women's Shorts are available in five sizes from X-Small to X-Large and in the color Pink. The shorts feature a 6-inch inseam (size Medium).
