I'm not asking an inexpensive jersey to be bulletproof but it shouldn't be pulled apart thread by thread every time the hook-side Velcro on my gloves touches the material. Within five minutes after putting it on for my ride home from work it looked like it had been attacked by tiny little sprites armed with stitch rippers. Add in the fact that it seemed to stretch out by a size on the 8.5 mile ride home and it's a goner. I will say that it breathes really well and there's a good hand to the fabric. If you do order one, go smaller by a size and be prepared for snags galore.
I bought these jerseys in a few different colors because they are the best ones that I have ever put on. The material, weight, fit, and look are perfect. There is only one minor issue is that the neck fits a little bit tight when they are zipped up all the way. I have a skinny neck and it's snug on my so keep that in mind if you have a thick neck. I guess that's why they put zippers on these things in the first place.
I would still recommend these to anybody looking for a basic jersey that has a simple look. I would definitely get more of these if more colors were offered.
I've been trying to find the right MTB jersey for a long time now and couldn't find a viable option. Either it didn't fit well, I didn't like the material, or it didn't have the functionality. I really like this jersey. It's lightweight and fits great. I like having the two rear pockets (though I wouldn't put a phone or anything very heavy in it as it pulls the shirt down pretty easy) for GU or keys. I'm 5'11", 175 lbs and the medium fit great.
