Socks for your shoes?

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

essentially that is all the are. strectchier than normal socks with hole for cleats. probably only realistic to use these on uber-cold days and days where normal winter waterproof booties arent enough.

Keep Your Shoes Clean

These covers are inexpensive and effective. I ride on roads where tar and other such muck is occasionally thrown up. This gunk, many times, will NOT come off your shoe even if you use a potent stain remover like Goo Gone.

A plus is that these covers aren't bad looking.

A little protection from the weather

When you need a little layer, and the weather is not too cold. These fit the bill. Try as a liner under booties when it's real cold.

      Responded on

Not usefull. These are socks. If these things help keep your feet warm, its probably near 70F or warmer. they do look cool. id say they are good from about low-60's up. Sizing- i where a 44.5 specialized s-works and the L/XL is pretty snug.

      Responded on

Agreed. Maybe the ideal application is as a liner to real winter booties when you need an extra something, something, to keep your toes warm. "Belgian" socks, maybe, keeping your shoes clean. Otherwise, agreed, odd. And the thin material catches on the shoe pins.
