NOTE TO DARIO

Dario, Just a note to wish you well and a speedy recovery. Woof For Peace, Rick Billings

Mi raccomando Dario questa è la scusa buona per smettere di lavorare e far fare tutto a Pietro... sfruttala al meglio. In ogni caso non mollare mai. Come vedi siamo in tanti e siamo tutti con te.

Francesco, Milano, Italia

Dario - I can honestly say that one of the first road frames I truely lusted after was a Great Googlie Mooglie. I own three Italian bikes and hope that you get better so that you can build me my first custom frame. You are a true artist and not afraid to push the enevelope. Meeting you at Interbike was a treat and was probably one of the more memorable experiences I had there. You were very down to earth and not bothered to take time out of your busy schedule for a chat and photo. I hope to hear good things are coming your way soon!

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Hey Dario - I was sad to hear of your news. You are an original and a blessing to the world and cycling. Remember that God never gives us more than we can handle. It sometimes just takes time to realize that we can. I will pray for you and hope that the Lord gives you peace and comfort in your time of need. God bless and keep building those beautiful bicycles! I'd love to have you build one for my son Grant. Here's a picture of him to cheer you up...he's got a smile that warms the heart.

Joel Pace, Austin, Texas

Cordiali saluti, Riccardo

For years I have coveted your bikes. It is my dream to one day come to Italy for a month, get fit at your facility and come home with my Pegoretti. When that day comes I will see you well! I wish you a quick recovery, and all the best in the world!

Corey K, Los Angeles, CA.

Dario, Signor Pegoretti, For years I have admired your bikes. They are more than bikes and are truly art. In these days in the country where the dollar is king, it is unusual to see someone committed to their craft like this anymore. I wish you a speedy and full recovery. Ti auguro buona salute.

Dario. Having never been in a situtaion like yours, I am at a loss of words. All I do know is that in the same well you draw your creative spirit from you will also find the strength to do what needs to be done.

Andrew, Jhb, South Africa

Dear Dario, Over the past hour I've spent carefully looking through your frames, I've fallen in love. I am impressed by your passion; your devotion to the simple machine that bike riders--not just racers--have come to appreciate since the time it was first conceived. Seeing pictures--I wish I could see more--has reminded me about the bike; it's that fundamental piece of steel, aluminum, scandium, or carbon fiber, that, after adjectives and acronyms, remains a beautiful means of navigating life and land. Thank you for your work. Seeing such love brings me back to the essentials of why I ride my bike.
