NOTE TO DARIO
Hello Dario, I hope this finds you well. You are a true artist and I love your work. There is no one out there like you and genius such as yours graces the rest of us only rarely. I can't help but smile and often get goose bumps gazing at one creation of yours after another. May you live a long and healthy life. Yours in spirit

dario! check out dr douglas grahams website at www.foodnsport.com grab his book '80/10/10'. if you dont treat the cause of ill health and just treat the sypmtoms with drugs, how can we ensure lifelong health? just like if i jump off roof tops with one of your road frames and expect you to fix it. thats treating the symptom. treating the cause would be telling me to treat the bike like its designed too. 80/10/10 book tells us how to treat our body like the finely tuned race machine it is. dr douglas graham has helped thousands of people worldwide overcome cancer, digestive disorders, skin conditions etc. i went from chronic fatigue to doing solo 321 mile training rides.. no magic pills or potions..just real food!

Mr. Dario, I wish you the best during this tough time. Stay strong and get back to making bicycles. You are outstanding. We are all thinking of you here and wish you the best. My Fina is my favorite bike and I really appreciate your fine work (not to mention the beauty). Take care of yourself and get well.

Dario, hope things are well. Things have been good on my side. I don't know if anyone told you that i have moved on from Gita but i have, it was just time for a change. Most of my days are now spent riding my bike and working at a local bike shop. Got to go see a Ben Harper show last week which is always a treat, we met Michael Ward for dinner before the show. Well enough babble, just wanted to let you know you were in my thoughts and I wish you the best. Oh yeah, I went out on the cross bike the other day, it made me smile. So thanks for making me smile Dario. All the best, Blair. blariccra@yahoo.com

Dear Dario - For years I have lusted after your Luigino, admired your artwork and craftsmanship - I now find myself in Italy for the next two weeks-and moreover am saddened to hear of your illness. I will try to make time to stop in Milan next week - late June or early July - to personally extend my best wishes. Strength, fortitude, and the good wishes of many belong to you. Hi – I hope you enjoy a small glimpse into my world. I have never ridden a bicycle you made but via the internet I have learned much about you and your ideas regarding making bicycles. Your notion of making bicycles reminds me of my first sculpture teacher’s approach to making art. Your work and your approach is inspirational to me. Like you I am also a cancer survivor. From what I have read, you are fighting cancer on your terms, and therefore, and you are not losing yourself by way of the medical process of treating cancer. Please focus on taking care of yourself and on being positive, and above all do not lose yourself; that is the advice I followed and it worked for me. The photo is of me and Mica – she is congratulating me after a bicycle race. Our first adventure together started 2 weeks after CT scans showed my cancer was officially in remission, and consisted was 4 weeks of camping and conducting geologic field work. Best of luck with everything, I know you will be fine.
