Dario -- your eye for design has long been an inspiration to me and i always knew if i were able to find "my Pegoretti" i would certainly make the sacrifice to obtain it. you are in my thoughts and i wish you a speedy return to the art you so love and that must love you the same. by the way i did finally find a Marcello in my size and will prize it forever! I am impressed by your passion; your devotion to the simple machine that bike riders--not just racers--have come to appreciate since the time it was first conceived. Caro Dario, ho appreso con sconforto la notizia della tua malattia, mi permetto di darti del tu , anche se non ci conosciamo , ma da appassionato di bici , ti sento vicino come un fratello. Anche per me e' un momento difficile , la cartilagine del mio ginocchio dx e' consumata e non mi lascia pedalare. Vorrei tirarti poterti tirare su di morale se mai ne avessi bisogno , ma mi vengono solo in mente cose tristi , non c'e' proprio giustizia a questo mondo , prima Sheldon Brown ed ora tu.
