NOTE TO DARIO

PierAngelo (PA) Beltrami, Harper's Ferry, WV

Dario, I rode my bike to work every day until retirement, now I ride where I please. I have many bicycles but I like the Italians best & your bikes touch my heart! May The Lord of Life, The God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob stretch out his hand to heal you.

Donald Hickerson, Olympia, Washington, USA

Some twenty years ago, I saw this on a sign at the employee entrance of a jewelry manufacturer: "Artists work with their hearts. Laborers work with their hands. Craftsmen work with their hearts AND their hands!" You are in my thoughts and prayers. The world needs its craftsmen.

Tom Nyzio, Pawtucket, RI

I wish you well in your battle with this awful illness. Your bikes are works of art and beauty, and you have created a legacy of which I and many are proud to enjoy. Best wishes.

Doug, Dallas, Texas

Dario, while I'm not a rich man or a pro rider,I ride your 8:30 am everyday to work It's my most prized posession. Its funny what a bike can do for your soul. Thanks

Peter, Portland OR

Dario: I just love my Pegoretti bicycle and can’t wait for the next one with the most outlandish paint job ever. Too many frames rely on gimmicks with multi-shaping, mixed materials, and you just deliver the goods in well thought out, simply artful way. Your chain stays are sublime, and your head tubes are just brilliance! Every ride, I can’t get over how a totally aluminum bike can ride so plush and read my mind when steering. Best of luck on your full & speedy recovery.

Moses Botbol, Brighton, MA USA

Mr. Pegoretti, I own a Palosanto and Custom Team. I hope you are tolerating your treatments. My bikes stand out in the crowd and I get many compliments. I wish you could fabricate a pair of more muscular legs to push me down the road. Incedentally, I ride past Graceland often. Your are welcome to come to Memphis and I will take you to see the King's abode. (You can also check in on your Nashville and Little Rock retailers). Good luck and direct your positive energy to battle the lymphoma

Rick Sykes, Memphis, TN

Dario, I am new to the whole cycling realm but have seen your great masterpieces. I can't wait till when I can get my hands on my own. Hang in there. I know you're a fighter and can get through this. May you find comfort and God's grace and peace. You are in my prayers. Ciao

Tim Molina, Waco, TX

the review on this website of the responsorium made me sad. i think the conclusions the reviewer draws are completely unfounded. furthermore, i think you are an frame-building genius (and i don't like to use that word casually) the paint-work on the responsorium is brilliant. also, i think it gives little insight into your mental status, whatever that may be. more importantly, i would like to wish you well in your fight against cancer and hope that you can return to whatever makes you happy, whether it's constructing frames or not. at the moment i am a graduate student, but one day i will own one of your frames -- and i anxiously look forward to that day. i wish you the best. p.s. i like your taste in music (and art).
