NOTE TO DARIO

Get well, Dario. Your work is impressive, and we need to keep it coming. I particularly like the bike you build for Floyd Landis with the Jack Handy expressions on it, yor Big Leg Emma, GGM and Luigino models, and your respect for the classic methods of building frames. Peace out.

Dario, get well soon. Our thoughts and hopes are with you.

Hi Dario, I become aware of your masterfull skill of frame building a year ago, till then I was riding the all carbon frame like the rest of the world. Tell you true the carbon feel lifeless compare to all steel frames, but don't get me wrong I love my bike but I thinking on my retireing frame and one of yours is on my list, so let cut the crap. Feel good, getter better and keep building those amazing frames (with cool names as well). Tomer

On July 31 '07, as I rode through my 50th km at 42km/hr at approx. 6.50am, I coughed. At that moment I realised something was dreadfully wrong...I had a heart attack. At 39 and very healthy by all measures, what happened? My family and friends know my passion for cycling and bikes and how it grows with the help of websites such as this. But now I feel a greater connection - even more than any crash or car accident I'd had before. Maybe it's the feeling that now it's not just I that owes cycling but now cycling owes me, too...it's an analogy of perceived bonding I rather like. Passion for cycling is now more interesting to me than the technical advancements. Hopefully you now know why I love reading about you, dream of owning your work and pray you are recovering.

on every ride, my fina estampa reminds me to live better, enjoy the day, and grow (i don't speak italian, but i think it might also be telling me that i am slow). thank you for small lessons in life

I've just discovered your bicycles. Being the owner of a Pinarello 1985 SL tubing (full Record), I might say I am aware to fine craftmanship. Your bikes are incredibly attractive (I have a crush on the Mercelo). But most of all, I am aware that passionate people are of a rare race to wich you will forever belong. Best regards and long live.

Hi Dario, I'm sad to read that you are suffering from a serious desease and I just want to say that I sympathize with you and whish you all the best. I bought a Marcelo earlier this year. It's fantastic to watch and to ride. My son wants such a piece as well. He's only 4, but I will come back! Best regards Michael Lanser Stockholm, Sweden

Dario, I hope things are improving and that a full recovery is not far away.

Dario, Crashed my new Marcelo on a group ride the day your condition was announced. I thought I saw a tear drop seep from the small chip in the paint...as I cried, so did the world. Get well soon. Jeff
