The New, Merged Competitive Cyclist

Sometimes things happen and you can't explain why. That's the reason why for so long the Competitive Cyclist website was really two parallel websites: Hit the homepage and we made you choose "Road" or "Mountain." What we realize now is that the distinction between "Road" and "Mountain" is oftentimes artificial, confusing, and meaningless. So our days of parallelism are over.

Beginning now, our road and mountain sites are merged into one. If you check out the rear derailleurs section you'll see SRAM Red right alongside SRAM XX. You'll find the Scott Addict right alongside the Scott Scale. The stories, the technology, the selection -- it's all right in front of you on one page. It simplifies navigation, and it makes it easier for you to find the goods you want without worrying "which site am I on?"

Along with the merged site we've added some sorting tools that let you drill down within a category to "road" or "mountain" with one click. Again, ease of navigation was our primary goal.
