Certain year models of the Ridley Damocles and Noah framesets use novel, replaceable rear dropouts. They're made of aluminum and are CNC machined to join perfectly with the alloy stay tips that are bonded into the ends of the frame tubes on the back of the bike. The greatest advantage of this system is that the derailleur hanger is integral with the dropout, meaning that it's super stiff, offering precise shifting in any situation. However, should the hanger get bent in a crash or mishap, the dropout is inexpensive and easy to replace. This Damocles 09+/Noah 08/Asteria Drive Side Dropout comes with hardware to fasten it onto your frame. It fits 2009 and newer Damocles, 2008 Noah, and Asteria frames.
