These Shimano XTR Race Disc Brake Resin Pads are what comes with your XTR Race disc brakes. The pad material is attached to aluminum backing plates that are as light as possible while still performing admirably. The Resin Pad compound offers better modulation, is quieter, and tends to squeal less than the Metallic Pads, although they tend to wear a bit quicker and don't have quite as much ultimate stopping power. One pair of pads equals one wheel. Buy two pairs to complete your bike.
