The Roubaix Bib Shorts are constructed using Roubaix Vintage. Like all fabrics in the Roubaix family, this one is a winter-weight microfiber material that's made with a special interlocking knit and fits like spandex, but is thicker. Roubaix Vintage efficiently moves moisture and is breathable. It's brushed on the inside surface to create air pockets that insulate by retaining your body heat. It's an ideal material for winter clothing where warmth and freedom of movement are critical. The paneling for the bib shorts is patterned from the popular Silverline summer bib shorts and features a precise and snug fit without wrinkling or bunching.

The bib upper has a large micromesh insert in back for maximum ventilation. Grippers with a five centimeter wide soft silicone elastic texture keep the bottom of the shorts comfortably in place. The chamois is made from MC-3 OmniForm using Giordana's exclusive construction process. This way irritating seams are eliminated and the insert can move comfortably with you. Consequently you won't be suffering any chafing or irritation from bunching.
