GIRO MEN'S GLOVES - FULL FINGER
The Giro Remedy Gloves have been designed to comfortably, and seamlessly connect with popular mountain bike grips, not to mention a glove's primary function, to protect the hands when they're called on to break a fall. Giro's engineers carefully choose materials for these gloves, and in terms of protection, have made liberal and intelligent use of sonic-welded armor.
This armor is added to the outer two fingers and along the knuckles where you're most likely to hit branches or rocks on tight trails. The Remedy's biggest armor feature, however, is a Poron XRD crash pad. It wraps around the heel of the hand where it's going to stop a fall, and it's designed to distribute impact energy without compromising dexterity.
Armor, while great for protection, can be stifling in most cases. To prevent this, the upper is constructed from moisture-wicking, breathable air mesh. This ensures that, even on hot days, the Remedy Gloves are airy enough to use. But, protection and breathability are only two aspects to a decent glove -- those attributes need to be combined with fit and freedom of movement to make a glove exceptional.
So, for articulation, the Remedy's knuckles have flex zones that allow your fingers to quickly make shifting and braking actions without restriction. The biggest contributor to the Remedy's comfort and dexterity, however, is its three-piece, Super Fit Clarino palm. This ensures that the Remedy expertly follows your palm's natural contour, so there's no bunching at the grips, where blood flow and trail feedback is essential.
Completing the Remedy gloves are a micro-fiber wiping surface, sonic welded pull tab, silicone fingertip grippers, and a low-profile hook-and-loop closure with sonic welded pull tab.
The Giro Remedy Gloves are available in four sizes from Small to X-Large and in the colors Black/white, Black/green, and TLO Black.
