The SB140 T3 TLR X01 Eagle AXS 29in Carbon Wheels Mountain Bike might be Yeti's most versatile 29er to date. With 140mm of Switch Infinity rear travel, the SB140 holds rear wheel traction through technical climbing and does a great job softening impacts over sustained descents. 29in wheels front and rear enhance the bike's rollover capabilities for finessing jagged rocks and navigating off-camber roots, plus they hold their momentum over flatter trail sections. This Lunch Ride build receives a handful of downhill-oriented features, including a 160mm travel fork which brings the head tube angle to a fairly slack 65 degrees. Yeti pairs the straight-lining stability of this slack head tube angle with a steep 77-degree seat tube angle which ensures that the bike supplies a comfortable climbing position for long spins.

This T3 Lunch Ride build utilizes top-tier components throughout, starting with Yeti's lightest and stiffest TURQ carbon layup. SRAM takes care of drivetrain duties with their electronic XX1 Eagle derailleur and shifter to supply instant shifting. Yeti specs a Fox Factory 36 GRIP2 fork with 160mm of travel to supply plenty of cushion for burly descents, and lots of adjustability for fine-tuning thanks to the GRIP2 damper. Yeti's Lunch Ride treatment also incorporates powerful Code RSC brakes which pair nicely with the Maxxis Minion DHR II's powerful braking knobs in the rear. We love to see EXC 1501 carbon wheels from DT Swiss on this bike because they're lightweight and super responsive for that little bit of extra pop. This SB140 build is the perfect choice for trail riders who want to push their limits in advanced terrain without committing to the added weight of a full-blown enduro bike.
