Flattering Fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium

I got a medium to wear a chamois underneath and to ensure there was no tightness. The fit is very comfortable -- lightweight and slightly stretchy but doesn't hug anything. They stayed out of the way on the bike. I also bought the Sombrio V'al and Troy Lee Skyline shorts and these were far and away my favorite.

Runs small

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: small

I am a small in most other brands of shorts (even some of yeti's other models of shorts), but this style runs small. I have muscular legs, small waist. I thin a medium would probably have worked. The shorts are great material though: stretchy, comfortable, great colors.

I like them...but...

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

I have muscular legs and a small waist. I ended up getting a large to accomidate my legs and they are quiet large in the waist. I was able to cinch down the sides and they still look good. Material is light and breathable and comfortable to ride all day in.

Not as good as the Norries

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I was stoked to see that Yeti had a new short out for women. Unfortunately, they were slightly shorter and not as durable as my Norries. Surprising, as they are marketed to be for enduro. Maybe I am just too enduro. Or these are meant for race day.
These would likely be a better fit for someone looking for a thinner summer xc short. Also, Yeti shorts tend to run on the smaller size. Size up, unless you want that road biker look. Tight. Like tiger.
