Up, down, and around.

Shuttle riding is fun, but the descents are always better if you earn them, which is the MO of the Yeti Cycles Caddoa Women's Short. Made to please gals that seek out tough climbs, flowy descents, and long rides, the Caddoa is made from stretchy polyester fabric that moves with you and breathes exceptionally well, so you won't feel constricted or get sweaty when you're pedaling hard under the summer sun. The legs are also designed with pre-articulated panels and a seamless gusseted crotch that are engineered to make pedaling as easy as possible (without busting a seam in the saddle, which is a serious bonus).

All the fit engineering in the world won't matter if your shorts fall down, so Yeti hooked the Caddoa up with a Shok-N-Lok waist adjustment system that lets you find the perfect fit on the go. Two zippered hand pockets keep energy gels and multi-tools within easy reach, and the split leg helps prevent the Caddoa from riding up and cramping your pedaling style. Like all Yeti shorts, it's compatible with the chamois of your choice, but designed to work seamlessly with Yeti's Ruby chamois.

 • Pre-articulated leg panels
 • Seamless gusseted crotch

Nice shorts...just not for me.

 • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
 • Fit: Runs large

Loved the color, but the fit was completely off. I ordered a size up based on the reviews, and the shorts hung off me, even using the internal waist adjustment.

Yeti Shorts

 • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
 • Fit: Runs small

I really wanted to love these. On paper, I love these. Upon actually wearing them, not so much. I ordered a size up because of other reviews, and thank goodness I did. I wore them over my Izumi chamois shorts. Still it was tight in some places and loose in others. I have pretty muscular thighs. These were not flattering at all on. Maybe it's just my body type. I returned them and am still on the search for the perfect biking shorts.

In most pants I wear around a size 8. I ordered these in a large d/t other reviews, and with me planning on wearing chamois shorts underneath. They still fit awkwardly. Its a shame, they are so cute!

Great MTB shorts. LOVE that they're super light weight and airy, and LOVE the length...not a big fan of the super long bike shorts out there...they tend to feel like you're wearing dude shorts. I also like that you can choose your own chamois/liner, allowing you to pick one that actually fits your body/build. Some of the shorts with the sewn in liner tend to ride funny and bunch up in all the wrong places...uncomfortable. As stated ad nauseum, they do run small...order a size up!

The Best Shorts I have found.

 • Familiarity: I've used it several times
 • Fit: Runs small

Similar to the review I left for the women's Yeti Norrie short, they are simple in design, seem to be really well made, come in nice colors (both of which I really like and wear), and I like the idea of them being women's specific.

As I am sure most other women's mountain bikers can relate to, it can be really difficult to find women's mountain biking gear. Yay Yeti, thank you for having some cute women's pieces!

I warned that the Norrie shorts ran small, I am going to say that I still sized up to a medium in the Caddoa shorts too even though they fit much better! Unlike the Norrie short, these seem to fit much better in the leg and to be actually designed to fit lady riders who have quads/butts.

That being said, the fabric itself is a bit lighter/breezier and the length of the short is well, shorter in comparison to the Norrie short which has a longer narrower leg with a tougher fabric.

The Best Shorts I have found.

Favorite short!

 • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
 • Fit: True to size

I am petitie and was very exciting to find a pair of mt bike shorts that actually fit well and looked flattering. The material is light and breathable, but strong enough to have survived some lovely crashes without any rips or tears. My favorite by far!

Not the most exciting picture, but shows the fit of the short. This is last years color. I have the storm from this year and they fit the same.

Favorite short!

You seem to be about the same size as me (I'm 5'1, 115 lbs) and I noticed everyone else said order a size up because these run small, but according the size chart I would be an xs, same as you. Just wondering how these fit you? Are they tight at all, are you able to wear liner shorts under them, do you recommend going up a size? Thanks!

Responded on

Hi Meg, You probably already made a decision, but.... I wear a liner underneath and they fit perfect. I tried on the S and it was just a little to loose. I would definitely go with XS.

This may be a silly question, but do these come with a chamois pad or not? It seems like not, but just checking. Thanks.

Responded on

Not a silly question! These are compatible with Yeti's Ruby Liner Shorts (chamois), but they are sold separately! You could also really pair these with whatever chamois you want, not just the Yeti Ruby.

so far, I really like them

 • Fit: True to size

I bought the medium. I'm a bit thick waisted, 135lbs, 5'5", so I like the looser waist on these. They are a very light and stretchy material-very different than the Norrie (I own those too). Due to this, the fit is a bit more forgiving than the Norrie. I have yet to ride in them, but I can't wait.

Thumbs Up!

 • Familiarity: I've used it several times
 • Fit: Runs small

These shorts are a great fit, especially for a shorter girl (like me)! They are comfortable and very light weight, the perfect mountain bike shorts. I did order them a size larger than I would normal shorts, per the other reviews and was so relieved when they arrived and fit just right!

Comfiest shorts

 • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
 • Fit: True to size

I bought this shorts after a friend recommended them and they are incredibly comfy! I've been a spandex fan for awhile, primarily because most the women's baggies were either stupidly tight on my thighs (what, you think girls who mtb don't have quads?) or are so ridiculously huge they aren't even flattering. I found these shorts to be a great combination; they're soft, stretchy and comfy while still looking as attractive as a chamois will allow. Yeti for the win!

Too small

 • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
 • Fit: Runs small

These shorts are excellent quality, Perfect length, and super cute however they didn't fit. I normally wear size 8 and i got the mediums which are 8/10. I found they were too tight in the hips and butt. Bummed me out because these are a nice pair of shorts.

Long

 • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
 • Fit: True to size

The fit is great, a little longer than I was hoping but overall a great short!

Best Shorts.

Best mountain bike short for women that I have found. I have thighs
and these shorts cut a flattering fit and are super comfortable.
Ready for trail and post trail beer on the deck.

Nice and comfortable

I just absolutely love these shorts. In fact, I have them in both colors. I am picky about the fit of my mountain bike short . They are comfortable, functional, and look good at the same time. These shorts weren't overly baggy and I didn't feel like the bottom would get caught on my seat. I did find that the shorts are highly breathable and I liked the length. The caddoa shorts are a looser fit then the Norrie (I own both shorts).
