With a revised, 27.5in-wheeled 575 joining Yeti's already impressive lineup, things are looking up for all-mountain riders on a budget. As Yeti's 575, furnished here with the Enduro Complete Bike kit, it provides the amazing ride quality expected of a seasoned veteran — in a package that expertly balances performance with quality.

The 575 defined this category, and the rebirth of Yeti's historic nomenclature stays true to the original's goal — with a healthy dose of modern standards. This includes 27.5in wheels, 12x142mm rear spacing, a direct mount front derailleur, PressFit30 bottom bracket, and ISCG tabs. The 575 is slotted under the SB (Super Bike) line, but that doesn't mean it's compromised in any way. The two Yetis have similar numbers on the geometry charts, with a few standout differences.

For one, the 575 is available in X-Large with a generous 25.6in top tube. In fact, throughout the 575 size run it's about a 1/2in longer in the top tube than an SB-75, while they share nearly identical wheelbases. The head angle on the 575 is also about a 1/2 degree slacker, measuring in at 67 degrees. The reason for these differences is to make the AS-equipped 575 ride similarly to the Switch Technology suspension found on the SB bikes.

The AS suspension design arcs the rear wheel forward and shortens the wheelbase slightly, which is why you'll find a little more length in the 575's cockpit and a slacker head tube to ensure stability. Switch Technology is great, but it's not for everybody, and it's why Yeti provides the simpler AS system on its 575. It uses double-row bearings at the main pivot, keeping the original's reputation for reliability alive. The butted and shaped rear triangle is connected to the hydro-formed 7005 alloy front via a FOX Evolution. This ensures the 575 climbs and descends like the highly capable bike it is.

Matched up to the rear shock is a 150mm Fox Evolution. This ensures a simple user interface and easy tuning. The Yeti 575 Enduro Complete Bike rides on a DT Swiss M1900 Wheelset wrapped in Maxxis tires. Drivetrain duty is covered by a mix of SRAM. Up front is an X7 derailleur and a SRAM S1000 crankset with 22/32/44 tooth gearing. Out back is an X9 rear derailleur and 11-36T SRAM cassette. Avid Elixir 5 brakes keep your speed in check, while an alloy Truvativ T20 stem/seatpost and T30 handlebar occupy the cockpit.

Unanswered Question

I'm confused, what's the difference between the 575 Enduro and the SB5 Enduro? I don't see a 575 Enduro on Yeti's website.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I'm 5'7" 130lbs with not a lot of mountain biking experience (road, street, track) but want to be able to "grow" into a bike that will get me into more gnarly trails and ideally self supported backcountry touring. The aluminum frame makes me feel confident that I can bang it around without it breaking (I've had plenty of friends crack and destroy carbon on trails). The size appropriate frame and wheels feel natural for my size and habits from a road background. The CTD fork is AWESOME. Other than a dropper post, the whole set up is already dialed. Really. I thought I might replace the handlebars, but after a few rides, I realized that the ones that come with it are perfect. It's not the lightest and it's in a mid-zone between a more aggressive CX and a DH bike, but that makes it perfect for being an all-round BFF. Plus, it's super pretty.

I realized that I might want a hard tail/gravel grinder because that's probably where I'll put in more miles, but that's my N+1

Big thanks to customer service - it arrived ridiculously fast and the pre-build was very well done.

where is this bike made?

Yetis are made in Golden Colorado! CO!!!

Yeti finishes production in Golden, CO. The frames are welded and painted in Taiwain at a factory Yeti contracts with.

Hey I noticed the description says the crankset is 22/32/44, however the pictures show a 2x10. What comes on this bike?

Unfortunately there are some photos on the site that are not accurate, so always go on what the tech specs and description says. This bike does come with the triple. If you have anther questions shoot me an email if you want a double crank I can work something out and make that happen. Cheers

The previous 575s had a small flex joint...

The previous 575s had a small flex joint in the seat stays near the rear axle. I do not see this in the new model. How is the rear triangle made to function without this flex joint?
