They do what they are made to do!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They are strong, secure, and hold your stuff. They have a rubber coating that help with grip and make them last forever. The bigger the bars, the more toys you can put up top. With the 78" bars I can easily get 5 creekboats (6 if I get creative), or 3 boats, a bike, and a rocket box, or many other mixes for a day of fun.

The long bars do stick out past the sides of my Outback, so you may have to adjust how you get out so you don't hit your head. It happens, but you learn quick. Also the end caps can be a pain to get out it you decide to take the bars off, so plan ahead or be patient when trying to remove them.

Yakima makes great products to carry our toys to and from the mountains. I do like the round bars over the Thule square bars, because with some parts, like ski racks or kayak stackers, it is easy to just rotate them down out of the way when not in use.

They do what they are made to do!

bars were nice

Longer than I needed for my full size van bhut can and will use them. got to be carefull backing into carport wide bars could hit tressels. Must back straight in not too far right or left or car port is knocked down.

    I just bought a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica....

I just bought a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. My wife and i each have our own kayak. We used to use our Nissan Xterra to carry them with the Yakima HullRaiser Aero racks installed directly onto our factory rack. What do I need to use them on our Pacifica? Any help would be great.
    Thanks
