For all seasons.

If you live in an area where the weatherman is never on the ball, you’ll need the Vittoria Zaffiro Pro III Tire, which is designed to tackle anything from potholed roads to slick corners. The Zaffiro Pro III is engineered with Vittoria's Aramid Endura compound. This rubber is designed to roll fast and hold its speed. To keep punctures to a minimum, a nylon Puncture Resistant Belt (PRB), the same as occurs on the more expensive Open Corsa, is added to the construction. The tread features new, deeper grooves in the middle for secure cornering.

  • 700c x 23mm
  • 60TPI
  • Puncture Resistant Belt

Cheap and simple

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I needed a cheap tire after one of mine blew out. I got two of these since the price was good. It does exactly what it claims to do. Can't beat that for the price.

The tire does need a bit of finesse and finger strength to put on the wheel. Practice a few times at home before you head out.

No punctures yet- rolling well. I don't mind the weight since I'm using this as a training wheel now.
