Description

Vittoria's Removable Valves are something special. They're not valve extenders like you'd expect, but actually valve stems that function with Vittoria's 320 TPI tubulars and Rubino Pro tubulars. These tires and tubes have unique removable stems. Simply un-thread the valve stem that is not the preferred length for your rims and screw on a new one. This way, you can ensure that you have a single-piece stem at the proper length for easy inflation and with an accessible valve. With an exposed valve, you'll be able to tighten it to prevent leaks or open it fully to inject liquid sealant inside the tubular tires on your deep carbon rims.

While this may not sound revolutionary, you'd know different if you ever had a leaking or stuck valve inaccessible inside the confines of your rim and were faced with the prospect of ripping off your perfectly glued race-day tubulars. The Vittoria Removable Valves are available in three lengths -- 42, 60, 80 and 110mm. They're sold as a pack of 2, enough for one complete bike.

Please Note: These will NOT thread onto the ends of your existing presta valve stems to act as extenders.

Only works with Older Vittoria EVO Tires

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Don't try using these with new EVO III tires. You'll need a more traditional extender and not these proprietary extenders.

Vittoria Valves

If you have any type of extended rims and your runnin tubular vittoria corsa evo cx's. You gotta swap out your stems for longer ones. These are the ones you get. 1 complete Stem no extension. You don't want to rely on 2 pieces that could lead to failure in the final 500m or when your 100k from home. Reynolds 46t ul 80mm vittoria stems. No possible leakage, if you put them on right. Don't forget to buy a set for your spare. For when your training, or just riding the roads.

Great for Extenders

If you need to run extenders for your deep dish wheels these are the one you want. Being able to remove the valve is a great feature.

Tubular tire essential

Their the must have if you love being able to close the valves. Easy to put on and reuse in case of a flat. I am not a big fan of extenders that just screw on top of the tires presto valve that seem to always end up loose and have you struggling to put the proper pressure in your tires. They are great for avoiding all this.

Great extender, a bit pricey

These are great for those deep dish tubies. Easy to install and very functional. They are a bit spendy, but probably worth it.
