Vittoria Diamante Pro Lite II Clincher Tire $67.95
Get as close to sew-ups as possible without actually taking the plunge.
It's rare that clincher tires can meet the lofty expectations of their tubular brethren without sacrificing speed or ride quality, but Vittoria has done it with the Diamante Pro Light II. It’s capable of an impressive maximum inflation of 160 psi, and its bead-to-bead slick tread is built for pure, sustained speed delivery. The 220 TPI casing ensures you won’t give up anything to ride quality, either. It houses Vittoria’s latest and lightest PRB 2.0 puncture strip for any rogue debris on the course, though Vittoria still recommends this tire for optimal pavement on well-known roads. The Diamante Pro Light II comes in both 23mm and 25mm widths. Available only in Black.

Love 'em/hate 'em
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These tires came on my new Cervelo. LBS said I would love them for a few weeks because they are super light, roll fast, and corner great-he was right. He also warned they would not last long-he was right. I ride good, clean roads-rarely have flats. With about 500 miles on these-both have flatted and now I've got a cut in the front one-if it's got a puncture strip it's not very good. I took them off today and threw in the trash. Put on a new set of Conti 4000 s. You might like them as a race tire but don't expect much life out of them.
the need for speed
great for fast traing rides and racing, great on turns and no flats so far.....
Low miles, multiple flats
I got only 600 miles from these tires before the rear had worn through and had multiple flats in the sort time I rode them. Would not buy them again.
These slick tires are a great mix of compound and rides really well.
