TriMax T30 Clincher Wheelset

Many of us are on a budget when it comes to allocating funds for cycling equipment, but still want kit that's durable and aerodynamic. The Vision TriMax T30 Clincher Wheelset delivers on all fronts as a solid all-rounder wheelset for training and races at a budget-friendly price. With a 30mm rim profile, these wheels provide an aerodynamic benefit over standard box-rim wheels while maintaining snappy acceleration and solid handling over deeper-dish rim options. These wheels can thread the perfect line on a screaming switchback, jump out of a transition area, and spin through training miles with ease.

Vision uses a CNC machining process on the T30's braking track to provide a seamless surface for reliable, consistent braking while ABS self-locking spoke nipples prevent pesky loose spokes and keep the wheels true. No more worries about inconsistent braking feel at the turnaround or speed-sucking brake rub from an unexpected wobbly wheel when you're gunning for a PR.

At the center of the wheel, Vision P.R.A. hubs keep everything rolling. P.R.A., which stands for Preload Reduction Assembly, is a specially designed axle that separates force loading from the quick release and hub assembly to keep the bearings from getting overloaded. All that is a super techy and fancy way of saying that this system keeps the bearings from experiencing too much stress, which means they'll roll more smoothly and last longer than standard non-P.R.A. hub systems.

On the front, 20 radially laced bladed spokes hold the wheel together, and the rear wheel features a blend of cross and radially laced bladed spokes to maintain consistent tension and counter drivetrain force for a snappy ride. The Vision TriMax T30 Clincher Wheelset is compatible with SRAM and Shimano 11-speed cassettes and comes with quick release skewers and rim tape.
