Why We Like The Vision Metron 5D ACR 3K Integrated Handlebar

The Vision Metron 5D ACR 3K Integrated Handlebar provides superior aerodynamics to our road setup with its wing-like shape of the bar top. The new ACR system keeps all cables, wires, and hoses routed internally for a clean look and extra speed and is also compatible with Di2 systems. The ergonomic design ensures riding comfort, using a slight rise from the stem clamp, a 5mm offset, and a 10-degree forward bend to place our arms in the best riding position possible.

Carbon Fiber Delamination

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Shortly after completing the installation, the top layer of carbon fiber began to delaminate on the top cap. A small crack is also beginning to appear by the bolt hole. I use torque wrenches and everything was done to spec. The conundrum is: to send this back to CC involves new bar tape, a double brake bleed and re-wiring the replacement. In short, a huge hassle. Thus, I'd rather just get a new top cap, but they aren't available anywhere! Given how expensive this bar is and how ubiquitous a traditional top caps are, FSA should have a ton of these on hand. I haven't reached out to FSA yet (have to wait until Monday) but if they don't have a satisfactory solution, I'll have to send the whole thing back. Again, given the cost of this item, I expected much better.
