Description

Protect your gear.

Whether we like it, love it, or simply tolerate it, the pool is an essential component of triathlon training. However, unlike the conditions that you'll face on race day, the chemical makeup of a pool will deteriorate your gear. That's why TYR created the chlorine-resistant Competitor Reversible Diamondfit Women's Swimsuit for your daily training.

For the construction of the Competitor Reversible Diamondfit swimsuit, TYR used a high-denier blend of polyester and spandex. So, let's break down what this actually means. By incorporating these two fibers, the suit gain the breathability and hold of polyester, while the spandex adds the required stretch for the locomotion of swimming. Additionally, the high denier, or high fiber-weight, means that the construction's knit is supportive. Accordingly, the suit holds the muscle groups of the core and glutes in place, protecting them from any unwanted movements or oscillation. Effectively, this reduces fatigue, meaning that you're able to swim at your threshold for longer periods of time.

The aforementioned has been further supported through the suit's circular knit construction. This technique creates a nearly seamless tube, which provides an equal level of support over the entire torso. Additionally, this construction method minimizes the need for seams, meaning that the risk of chafing is nearly eliminated.

For durability, TYR made the suit 100% chlorine-proof and with 100% colorfastness. So, neither your training or racing schedule stand to degrade these shorts. In terms of fit, the Competitor features a slow-rise towards the waist, a cut at the chest, and thing straps that run from the shoulders to the upper-middle back This provides a broad surface area of coverage, thus favoring both hydrodynamics and muscle support.

Additionally, TYR made the suit reversible. So, you're able to wear to separate designs with the one swimsuit.

The TYR Competitor Reversible Diamondfit Women's Swimsuit is available in five sizes from X-Small to X-Large and in the colors Black/red, Black/grey, and Black/light blue.

NOTE: To cater to different needs and budgets, TYR engineers two triathlon lines. Competitor garments offer a compressive fit, while carbon garments offer a super compressive fit for a second-skin feel. You should select your same, standard size for both carbon and competitor garments but expect slightly different fits.
How to Measure:
For best results take measurements over your underwear, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist:
Bend to the side and measure around the place where your waist bends, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hip.
Torso:
With someone's help, run a tape measure full circle from your shoulder at the neck, over the fullest part of your chest, down through the center of your crotch and back up to the starting point.
