Item # TOP001E

Dialing in a repair kit takes years of fine tuning to get it right. Topeak's Air Booster Race Pod, however, cuts down the trial and error by putting the necessities for quick tire repairs in a clean kit that attaches to seatposts. The kit features Topeak's Air Booster CO2 inflator, two tire levers, two 16g CO2 cartridges, a mounting module with strap, and a neoprene bag.

Instead of storing items in a saddle bag where they can be difficult to retrieve, the mounting module straps to a seatpost or seat tube for fast access to the Air Booster inflator, CO2 cartridges, and tire levers.

on my tri bike

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

clean, simple, not bulky. great for sprint and oly's... Downfall is when you hit the small cracks on the road after 4-5 hours of riding it tends to slip to the bottom of the post and it starts to turn to the side. gets annoying and you have to keep turning it. BUT, great for race days.

Works great with no tube strapped on.

I use it on my mountain bike and it comes loose on the seat post if there is a tube on it. On a road bike it would be fine since there are hardly any bumps. I've been looking for something like this for years so I don't have to tape stuff on my bike or carry it and I don't like the little seat pouches that hardly hold anything and swing around or come loose. Great concept just need to develop it a little further.
