One watch to rule them all.

Forget wearing a slew of different activity trackers and exercise watches when you're rocking the TomTom Spark GPS Watch. This ingenious activity tracker doubles as a GPS-enabled multi-sport watch, seamlessly transitioning from tracking your daily steps to measuring heart-pumping workouts. In fact, this watch not only tracks your steps, active minutes, calories burned, and sleep, but it also provides multi-sport functionality for running, cycling, swimming, and exercising indoors.

Its black and white LED screen offers an easy-to-read display in both bright outdoor environments and indoor gyms with dim lighting. An intuitive left/right button interface effortlessly toggles between the watch's different displays and workout screen menus. Built-in GPS tracking records speed, pace, distance, calories burned, and workout duration for all of your favorite workouts and activities. Because it's enabled with a built-in motion sensor, you'll find it tracks indoor workouts as well. And when you're finished working out, wirelessly upload your exercise metrics via Bluetooth to your favorite smartphone applications, including TomTom's MySports App.

Besides monitoring important exercise stats and 24/7 tracking, it also functions as a training watch for pushing your limits. It offers Race, Goals, Zone, Laps, and Interval modes for gaining an edge on the competition. Additionally, it comes with an included USB charging cable and user guide. Please note that it comes in two strap sizes, with the recommended wrist size for each respective strap noted in the bullet points below.

Simple and everything I need

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

The Tom Tom Spark GPS watch has been really great so far. I have been using it regularly for the past month for tracking runs and bike rides. The interface is incredibly simple to use and the battery life has been really great - I can usually go a week of general daily use and 3 or 4 runs/rides (GPS on) on a single charge. It is really great for tracking your workouts and being able to wirelessly upload workouts to a digital interface, the TomTom app leaves much to be desired though.

The activity tracking is okay... honestly I am not that interested in it and I am fairly certain that the sleep tracking cannot be trusted. I would not suggest this watch if that is your primary concern.

NOTE: This watch does have a built in HRM, but you can sync it to a chest strap HRM and/or cadence/speed sensors from TomTom.

Unanswered Question

The picture shows integrated HRM. But not mentioned in the description or specs. Does this model have the integrated heart rate monitor?
