TomTom Multi-Sport GPS Watch + Heart Rate Monitor $0.00
The TomTom Multi-Sport GPS Watch + Heart Rate Monitor provides runners, bikers, and swimmers with accurate, real-time metrics to enhance performance and establish a baseline for future workouts. Engaging with your every stride, stroke, or pedal, QuickGPSFix Technology precisely pinpoints your location within mere seconds, tracking your every move in conjunction with a built-in, 3D accelerometer. The accelerometer allows this watch to be used indoors when you're running on a treadmill or swimming laps at the pool (doesn't work in open water). The extra-large, high-resolution graphical display shows running, cycling, and swimming stats at a glance for quick informational updates on whether you should continue on pace, speed up, or slow down—according to predefined goals and previous efforts.Four unique graphical training modes allow you to surpass predefined goals, stay on pace, count laps, and race against previous bests. Goal mode sets a predetermined goal based on metrics like time, distance, or calories burned. The watch will keep you on track by indicating progress with a pop-up alert when you've eclipsed 50%, 90%, or 110% of your preset goal. Laps mode counts laps based on time, distance, or manual, user-defined settings. This is useful for running and swimming a large number of laps (it's easy to lose track when you're counting on your own). Zones mode creates a target zone based on heart rate or pace. You'll receive alerts based on your current performance versus the set target, and a user-defined buffer allows you to adjust the target zone plus or minus a set amount for those with less-rigid exercise expectations. Race mode virtually pits you against previous hot laps and high-speed loops. You can customize the watch to display past performances that you'd like to race against, or you can simply use the preloaded race times for each individual activity. The display on this slim, lightweight watch is scratch- and impact-resistant to stand up to years of use and abuse, and its one-button control makes it easy to navigate through the menus. The super-comfy, perforated rubber watch strap won't stick to your wrist when sweat starts pouring, and the included bike mount attaches to most road bikes for easy viewing when you're biking at breakneck speeds. The watch comes with a cushy, comfortable heart rate monitor strap, but please note that while it is sweat-resistant, it isn’t waterproof and cannot be used with the watch's swimming functionality. Compatible with either PC or Mac, this GPS watch connects and charges via an included USB Desk Dock. TomTom MySports Web Tool allows you to sync and share data online (free download online). Powered by MapMyFitness, this web tool supports use with MapMyRun, MapMyRide, RunKeeper, as well as a host of additional fitness-based web applications. You can also export data in various file formats, including the popular .FIT format for personal training applications and .KML for uploading onto Google Earth.

Totally true triathlon training tracker
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
I've been looking for a way to track my progress on distance and speed in the water, by bike and foot and have found this watch to be the best way to do all three, independently.
On land, this watch is accurate and gives three key performance indicators, one highlighted in the center and two smaller horizontally on top. The user can toggle between speed, pace, distance and extra's depending on what accessories (crank sensor and heart rate monitor) you have.
In the water I like that it will display speed, distance and the number of lengths. The number of lengths help when you in the pull and you really loose count, like i do all the time.
My wish list (are you listening TomTom) is to pull all this information together and quickly switch activities while in a triathlon. I find stopping/starting an activity to takes too long and requires multiple steps to switch from swim to bike to run. If you could do this with just one button push, it would be king.
Overall - this product has improved with firmware updates and will hope to keep it for many futures years of training.
