Basically made the the roofline of a wagon. Thule nailed this one. Build quality is superior to any of their other models. Handles high speeds no problem. The interior LED light is a nice touch. It’s definitely not the largest by volume, but it’s held all my snow or bike gear no problem. Worth the $

Far better locking and closing

I love the style and ease of locking/closing for this storage box. It is just much smaller than I expected.

This roof box looks good but that’s about it…

Bought this about a month ago for my Audi SQ5, to transport snowboards to and from the mountain. Today was suppose to be its maiden voyage from MA to VT I went outside this morning, temperature was 10 degrees. Could not open the box. The key would literally not even fit into the hole. It appears they manufacture the locks out of a very soft steel and in those temps the metal must have shrunk to a point where the key would not go into the hole at all on either side. It’s 5pm now, just got home and key still won’t go in and still can’t open the box. If you plan to use this in cold weather don’t bother.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, and the quality exceeds my expectations and beats my old roof box from another brand I had. I will not go back to any other box.

High quality and great aesthetics

I received the Vector Alpine box, mounted it on my SUV to use for ski trips and have been very please so far. The structure is rigid and very solid with clearly high quality plastics. Although it is a bit heavy and requires two people to mount it, the added durability will be great over time. The way the front edge swoops down is a unique aesthetic and definitely stands out from the crowd of boxy boxes!

Batterie and lock ???

HI There, I recently purchase a Thule Vector Alpine XL. Very nice product, except that the lock are really tight and sometimes I'm unable to open the box. Plus where to I get the batterie for the lights in Canada?

Awesome for extra storage

Love the look, love the storage space. Super easy install and removal. Box came damaged from XPO but carrier looked fine upon initial inspection looked fine. Installed with plastic still on…when removing plastic, there was a huge scratch. Not thrilled about price tag, and receiving damaged product. Outside of the damage, the final product and final look were exactly what we wanted.

No LED's on my Vector Alpine???

I've owned the box for about a year now and never really knew that it should come with the led's, Thule help?
