Great features, easy to install, end cap issues

Overall I like the product, but the locking feature on the end caps is flawed. I lost one on the highway within 2 weeks of installing.

Combined with Thule UpRide

Purchased the Edge Raised Rail for it's aerodynamic look and believed this would reduce drag and produce less noise. Maybe it does, but after putting the non-aero dynamic Thule UpRide bike mount on it, I get nothing but wind noise coming in through the closed sunroof. What's the purpose of having less drag on rails when whatever you mount to it will create drag and noise. Something to consider.

My review primarily relates to installation of the cross bars, as once on the vehicle, they function much like any other. For the record, this is the second vehicle I have installed THULE brand bars on. I have installed (much) cheaper cross bars on another vehicle, which were also relatively easy to use, and although these are more aerodynamic in design, I did not notice much of a difference in wind noise between the two bars. I will say that the THULE bars look a lot better, aesthetically. Anyway, with respect to the actual installation, this basically use a metal-reinforced rubber strap to grab the top rails of the car. Installation is largely intuitive once you see how the pieces click together, however one cross bar is longer than the other, and mine were unlabeled. I guess I should have compared them before installing the rear bar on the front, and finding that the front bar is too narrow for the rear of the car - thankfully an easy fix. The crossbars also have a torque rating for tightening the straps, and THULE shipped a single setting torque wrench with the bars, which made hitting the right torque setting dead simple. Once on the car they are rock solid, and would be difficult for anyone to try and steal. I'd give then 4.5 just because of the issue with the long/short cross bars, but there is no option to drop half a star. I don't think my failing to consider this is worthy of a full one star drop, as otherwise this was a pretty simple package to work with and install (from unboxing to done was maybe 10 minutes), so '5' stars.

Not sure what the lock key didn’t come with it . Other than that the look good and weee easy to put on

The product works well but has a loud whistle. Is there a solution?

Really easy to install and solid build quality. Also a nice perk that they're not noticeable loud on the highway.

Very Nice

The Thule WingBar Edge roof rack system looks and works great on my truck. I was looking for a flush mount system (I didn't want bars sticking out beyond the roof rails). If you want high quality and a great raised rail system, I recommend you consider buying. I am glad I bought the WingBar Edge system. On a side note, it would have been nice if the instructions clarified that the strap tightening doesn't use the Thule click system.
