Description

Dry and rippin'.

If the threat of rain is hanging in the air like a suffocating bubble of mist, pull on The North Face Bracket Jacket and enjoy the deliciously tacky trails while staying dry. Ripstop nylon with a Durable Water Repellent coating keeps moisture out while protecting your skin from snappy saplings, and a multitude of vents prevent a swamp from settling in between your body and the jacket.

  • Helmet-compatible hood keeps a cold head and neck from ruining your ride
  • Reflective trim alerts motorists to your presence on the long slog home
  • Internal media pocket helps keep you rockin' like a hurricane
  • Adjustable hem lets you batten down the hatches when the really nasty weather shows up
  • Rear zippered pocket securely stows your keys, so you don't arrive home soaked and locked out

The North Face Bracket Jacket - Awesome

This jacket is fantastic. Ive been out on quite a few rides in windy wet weather and it performs very well. The MTB-specific feature really up the ante: Large hood for use over any sized helmet. Longer panel cuts for sleeves for full arm coverage at arm extension. napoleon pocket on the outside for phone+inner chest pocket for MP3 player. Jacket blocks wind like a wall. Taped seams for wet weather. Back end tail extends for full coverage when climbing. Vents in the front work well. Only gripe is that the vent in the back is made to allow the front vents to send air through. But wearing a Camelbak covers this up so the system doesn't work as well in this situation. I had to return my size medium for a small as this jacket runs large- FYI.

Great jacket- highly recommended.

Any chance you have your measurements? I'm usually at a 38" chest and 30" waist, and am looking at the medium vs. small.
