If you're looking for a mount that will safely hold almost any cycling computer on the market without ruining the clean lines of your frame, consider Tate Labs' Bar Fly SLi Mount. Made in Northern California, the mount is compatible with Garmin's Edge 1000, as well as models from Joule, Cateye, Mio, and Magellan. If you're more of a watch person, you can use a QR mount and easily attach Garmin 310, 910, or 920XT watches.

The Bar Fly SLi also allows you to securely mount a camera or light and a Di2 or EPS junction box in addition to your computer. Regardless of what you're mounting with the Bar Fly SLi, wind tunnel testing led Tate Labs engineers to claim its time-saving, sleek design earned the mount the distinction of being the fastest in the world. In the event of a crash or other mishap, Tate Labs offers a lifetime replacement policy.

Solid upgrade

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I had the original bar -fly and this is a solid upgrade.
Feels much more solid than the first and a little extension is nice for the visuals.

Solid Feel, Easy Install

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I don't have any attachments, so I can't speak to that aspect, but as a computer mount it's great. It mounts quickly, and it is definitely more secure than the standard Garmin rubber band stem mount system.
