A secure place for your valuable cycling computer on your mountain bike is difficult to find. Until now, the best place has most likely, and unfortunately, been in your jersey pocket. Tate Lab's Bar Fly MTB 3.0 Mount changes that. The latest in its series of aftermarket cycling computer mounts is designed for off-road and all-terrain applications -- mountain bike, cyclocross, DH and enduro.
Designed with the same detail as its road and time-trial Bar Fly, Tate Labs' MTB 3.0 utilizes its signature 1/8th turn positive engagement technology to secure your computer. The mount clamps directly to the handlebars, placing your computer screen level no matter which stem you choose. In addition, it positions the device directly in the center of the handlebar for easier viewing. The MTB Bar Fly 3.0 accommodates virtually any stem -- negative rise and shorties included -- riders uses to refine their positions.
The 3.0 is manufactured in the USA out of Delrin, which is a stiff thermoplastic used in applications where durability is an absolute must. It has no screws to lose, and 'zero risk of over-clamping and crushing lightweight carbon bars.'
The Tate Labs Bar Fly MTN 3.0 has a 31.8mm handlebar clamp and is compatible with the Garmin Edge 200/500 and 510/800/810. It is available in Black.
