Rather than tear up your road tires while indoors, use the Tacx Training Tire. Road tires on trainers tend to get very hot and occasionally slip on the roller. The Tacx tire, however, was constructed from a rubber compound that minimizes heat and slipping and also reduces wear. The compound also reduces noise.
The Tacx Training Tire is available in 700c x 23mm and in the color Blue. It is not suitable for outdoor riding.
