Train your hardest.

When Tacx introduced its new line of Blue trainers, it did so using a decade's worth of knowledge and feedback received from its original Cycletrack model. What made this early version of the home trainer so popular was its ease of use, durable build, and overall value for the money. Developers at Tacx knew that they had something good with the Cycletrack, which is why Tacx kept those defining attributes intact when developing the Blue Matic Trainer. You still get the dependable, easy-to-use platform that's been trusted by numerous world-tour teams, only now, Tacx has included several key updates that're perfectly suited to your home training requirements.

Starting with the frame and legs, Tacx created the Blue Matic with an updated design of its stable, triangulated platform that made the Cycletrack so dependable. The construction easily handles load forces through its wide steel legs, with the rubberized feet keeping the frame in place on either a firm flooring surface or mat. Tacx made the Blue Matic simple to set-up, with just two bolts on the legs, a large adjustable locking cam on the rear dropouts, and an easy to assemble handlebar brake system. This means that a tool set for both small and big wheels is no longer needed -- even a 29in wheel fits without issue. This universal fit system Tacx incorporated might seem relatively insignificant, but if you've spent time on your knees trying to lock in your bike to a trainer, you'll be thankful for this intuitive design.

The Blue Matic's magnetic brake consists of two discs with six permanent magnets each. This 10 position handlebar resistance lever allows you to change the position of the magnets in the brake unit in relation to each other. This means that the resistance increases when you pedal faster and/or in a heavier mode. With the heavy-duty 1kg flywheel, and a maximum resistance at 700 watts, you're sure to meet your training goals aboard the Tacx Blue Matic Trainer.

The Tacx Blue Matic Trainer is available in one size and in the color Blue.
