Trail preparation.

We don't blame you for not wanting to carry anything but the essentials with you when you head out on the trails; however, if you've been caught on the trail without one, you're well aware that multi-tools fall under the essentials category. While you could certainly take your pick among many easy-to-carry designs, the Syncros Micro 8 Multi Tool is truly designed for minimalists. As its name suggests, its compact design features eight nickel-plated tools, including hex wrenches, as well as flat and Phillips head screwdrivers, all of which fold up small enough to be thrown into a pocket or a small saddle pack to keep you prepared for common trail-side maintenance.

Essential and Tiny Tool

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Like others have said, this tool is really small. Super easy to pack around and has all the essential bits.

So small you just may lose it

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great little tool that works for most trailside adjustments. You get all of your basic hex key sizes. With it being so small though you may just actually lose it like I did. Maybe I just misplaced it but it is definitely small enough where it is easy to lose track of. Also being so small it maybe not be the best tool for bigger hands or where the job requires more torque.

small and affordable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought several of these to keep in various spots; camelbak, car trunk, tool box, office desk, etc. Has most of the bits you need (other than chain tool) in a super small package. Five Stars.

So small you have NO excuses now

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Not ever tool you'll need perhaps, but most of them, the Syncros Micro 8 is so small you have literally no excuse not to carry your own tool. Very light, high quality and super small form-factor unite in what may be the best minimalist tool ever. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect mini tool

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

For how incredibly tiny this multitool is, it has everything one might need to fix a cleat, tighten a bolt, or generally get your bike up and running out on the road to get back home to the bigger toolkit. It's also small enough to fit easily into little saddlebag spaces or unobtrusively in an already packed jersey pocket.

Great value in a little package

This tool set is really small and light - easy to tuck into your saddle back without noticing the extra weight or bulk. This has pretty much everything you could need for a regular ride, especially on a road bike. If you're planning on a longer outing or really rough terrain on a mountain bike, the Syncros Composite 14 and Alloy 16 add in a chain break tool which is a nice touch

      Lightweight!

I bought a few of these, one for the truck, one for my desk, and one for my road bike. A great option for the basics!

        Never leave home without it

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is so perfect! Tiny enough to toss in a pocket and has all the basics that you would need.

If you want a little more, check out the Syncros 9, 11, 14, and 16 multi tools.

        Minimalist Perfection

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Eight of the most common tools in one tiny little package! It weighs next to nothing, and takes up barely any room in your pocket. What a deal!

        Minimalist Perfection

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
