Swiftwick Zero Sustain Socks $11.99
The 'Zero' in the Sustain Socks' title indicates the shortest socks in Swiftwick's line, and the 'Sustain' refers to the recycled nylon used to construct them. So, if you're after low-profile socks that were manufactured in the USA from post-industrial materials, the Zero Sustain Socks are your perfect match.
The socks were made from REPREVE, which is a post-industrial recycled nylon. In fact, as part of Swiftwick's line of socks that are created from this post-industrial recycled nylon, the Zeros were made to represent Swiftwick's carbon neutral philosophy and commitment to conserving and recycling. The socks were manufactured in Tennessee in Swiftwick's own factory, where its employees oversee every step of the process. Like the Olefin used in Swiftwick's synthetic collection, REPREVE wicks exceptionally well and is also hydrophobic, meaning that it will not absorb water. So, you'll stay dry and comfortable since the socks move with your feet and minimize (or eliminate) abrasion against your skin.
The Zero Sustain socks were created by a 200-needle machine process that yields a high density, seamless knit fabric. The cushioned footbed gives way to the thin-channeled upper -- both components playing a crucial role in providing overall comfort. The arch band provides support in the midfoot, and the Y-shaped heel contour assures that you won't experience any bunching or that overstretched feeling in the back.
Several knitting patterns in the footbed and cuff give the Sustain Socks a compressive nature that promotes blood flow in the feet. This then leads to improved vascular performance, resulting in reduced fatigue and a speedier recovery.
The Swiftwick Zero Sustain Socks are available in four sizes from Small to X-Large and in the colors Black and White.

What community has to say
Love these socks! Go figure
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Who ever think you'd love a pair of socks? But I love these. Just the right thickness. I don't like'm too thin. Feel great on and are super comfortable. I bought a couple of others, Pearl Izumi Attack Low and Craft Cool Shaftless, at the same time but these are much better than the PI's IMHO and worth the few extra $'s. Sizing guide was accurate for me. I'm a US9 and got a Medium.
