Swiftwick One Sustain Socks $0.00
Depending on who you talk to, being sustainable means many different things. But, to Swiftwick, it means constructing a line of socks in the USA, from recycled materials. That's exactly what you receive with the new Sustain line, as they were manufactured to represent Swiftwick's carbon neutral philosophy and commitment to conserving and recycling.
These socks were made from REPREVE, which is a post-industrial recycled nylon. The socks were manufactured in Tennessee in Swiftwick's own factory, where its employees oversee every step of the process. Like the Olefin used in Swiftwick's synthetic collection, REPREVE wicks exceptionally well and is also hydrophobic, meaning that it will not absorb water. Additionally, you'll stay dry and comfortable since the socks move with your feet and minimize (or eliminate) abrasion against your skin.
The One Sustain socks were created with a 200-needle machine process that yields a high density, seamless knit fabric. The cushioned footbed gives way to the thin-channeled upper -- both components playing a crucial role in providing overall comfort. The arch band provides support in the midfoot, and the Y-shaped heel contour assures that there won't be any bunching or overstretched feeling in the back.
Several knitting patterns in the footbed and inch-tall cuffs give the Sustain socks a compressive nature that promotes blood flow in the feet. This then leads to improved vascular performance, resulting in reduced fatigue and a speedier recovery.
The Swiftwick One Sustain Socks are available in four sizes from Small to X-Large and in the colors Black and White.

My cousin turned me onto these and I haven't looked back. These are super breathable, durable, and comfortable. I pretty much exclusively wear these and the 2 lengths when I run. I have maybe 10 pairs total, and no ragrets. I like this 1 length for road runs and the 2s for trail and also road because the longer cuff keeps debris out of your sock. You get a bit of an ankle gap with the 1s and definitely the 0s. I wear a size 10.5 US Mens and the Medium stretches just right, maybe a little tight.
