Meet Bud. Bud is Surly's front-specific Fat Bike Tire. Bud's pretty impulsive and aggressively dim-witted. He throws himself with abandon into questionable situations but somehow manages to come out alright, shrugging off abuse, mud, snow, and other debris with ease. Fortunately for Bud, his rear-specific buddy Lou is almost always on hand to temper his brashness and keep him in line.

Bud's 7 millimeter knobs are arranged in a pattern that complements steering, so whenever the two friends go out together, Bud leads the way and Lou backs him up. The durable 120 TPI and Kevlar bead also help keep Bud out of trouble, which keeps you rolling fat with fewer flats.

The Surly Bud Fat Bike Tire comes in size 26 X 4.8" and fits rims 65 - 100mm. It's meant to be paired with the rear-specific Surly Lou Fat Bike Tire.
