Sugoi Shift Men's Jacket $79.95
Shift for the conditions.
As a lightweight shell, the Sugoi Shift Jacket packs up tightly and layers nicely over both short- and long-sleeve jerseys. And while there's room to layer, Sugoi's expert cut eliminates excess material for a streamlined profile.
This reduces flapping at high speed when you're, say, dropping down the backside of a mountain pass. And when those winds are chilled, Sugoi's proprietary Shift fabric blocks them out in order to retain core warmth. The fabric is also treated with a durable water resistant finish (DWR) for those times that you get caught in an impromptu rainstorm.
The Shift fabric's engineered knit results in a subtle diamond pattern that permits the fabric to give slightly. This compliments Sugoi's refined, cycling-specific cut, while also ensuring that there's coverage whether up upright, standing, or crouched. Also, an elastic hem prevents the jacket from riding up when you're stretch over the hoods.
And during bouts of wind and rain, when the collar is used, a soft microfleece reduces the risk of any bothersome rubbing. Of course, visibility's usually poor when you call on the shelter of a jacket, rightfully, Sugoi provides the reflective details to increase your visibility to motorists.
The Sugoi Shift Jacket is available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large and in the colors Super Nova Yellow and Black.
