Description

Comfort that goes to eleven.

Why make a short whose comfort level is a ten on a scale that only goes to ten? Ever the perfectionists, Sugoi is tossing out the scale and raising the bar on their already award-winning RSE Short for women. Mainstay features of the RSE include its ten-panel construction which ensures a perfect ergonomic fit for a wide range of body types and muscle composition, and the elimination of inner seams that could irritate your skin on long rides. But more important is the all-new FXE insert that Sugoi has deemed their 'best ever.' Optimized for long miles and high intensities, the multi-density and anti-microbial FXE is designed to stretch and move with your body while channeling moisture and cool air, providing an optimal seating environment for long, hard hours on the bike. Your outlook on riding faster and further just got a little sunnier.

  • Unique mesh exhaust at the front of the FXE insert channels cool air over your perineal region
  • Wide, comfort waistband won't dig into your tummy after long hours on the bike
  • Compressive hem bands prevent the short legs from migrating as you hammer out of the saddle

Sausage thigh :-(

2 of my friends RAVE about these shorts and I loved the thicker waistband for tummy control but the leg band at the bottom, while attractive and a great design feature, did not work for my body, giving me the "sausage casing thigh" look. Tried them in a small (my fav Sugoi shorts are SM) and Med and had the same effect in both sizes. Disappointing but I gave it 3 stars since my friends rave about these shorts for long rides!

Awesome bike short

Last year I purchased the RS short with the FX chamois which was wonderful for long rides. When I saw the RSE short with the FXE chamois I knew I had to try them. So far the longest ride I have done with them was a 60 mile day ride and found the short to be extremely comfortable. The fit is the same as the other Sugoi bike shorts. The leg band is a bit tight but these are compression shorts so I expected them to be tight. I've just purchased my second pair. I recommend these to anyone planning on long rides of 50+ miles. They are worth the price.
