I have a 40 inch chest so should I get a medium which is a 39 inch or a large which is a 41 inch?
Great jacket. I had read some reviews on some other sites that were favorable so I decided to purchase this one from.
This jacket is fitted. I ended up going with a large. I normally wear a medium in us based clothing but the large fits me perfectly, I am 5'6'' and currently weigh about 170 pounds. When I reach me goal of 150 the large will most likely be a little looser.
I rode 25 miles last night at about 44 degrees with a long sleeve Saucony running shirt as a base layer. Temperature was perfect. the jacket does an excellent job of cutting the wind and seems to wick moisture well. Windproof, waterproof yet breathable enough. I think with a good thermal base layer and a thin fleece this jacket would be plenty suitable for sub-freezing temps.
