Description

Sometimes you need a little more coverage.

Built with a 10 panel construction the Sugoi RS Zero Bib Knicker will provide comfort and coverage when shorts… well, come up short. A lightweight mesh bib vents excess heat, while the form-fitting lowers wick moisture and slice through the air thanks to Sugoi’s Ultra-Aero fabric. Flat seams reduce discomfort and the Formula FX chamois supplies comfort needed for the long haul.

nice bib, but had to return it

this review isn't a review of performance, but just a note about fit to help others. i'm 6'1" 178, and have a little bit longer torso for my height. i ordered a large, and this is a really nice, high quality bib, as all Sugoi stuff seems to be. unfortunately, the bib was perfect in terms of fit except for the length of the straps which felt too tight on my shoulders. i have the same problem with pearl izumi -medium is too small, large is too big. with sugoi, the large was perfect, but another two inches of strap length would have been necessary for a perfect fit. Santini fits awesome -i wish other makers would take a cue from them..
one other note -like the other reviewer, i found the knicker a little short below the knee, and the elastic at the knee wasn't tight enough so when my knee was bent, a little gap opened in the front of the leg opening. kinda weird.

Great bib knickers needs some silicone

The short fits just like the standard RS shorts. I personally like the padding used in the RS shorts. The entire short except for the straps is a fleece lined (just like the arm and leg warmers). This is great in that wherever the short covers you is a consistent layer. They bibs also come up higher around the torso and have a zipper for easy entry and removal. This does make your stomach and midsection warmer than the rest of your body. I ride these in 45-58 degree weather and find them ideal.

The knee covers of the bib are the same length as that of the Sugoi knee warmer in that some may find them short. And here is why I only gave it 4 stars vs 5. There is no silicone to help hold the knee covers down and they creep up. The still cover your knee, it is noticeable. To be fair a lot of knickers don't have silicone to help hold the knee covers down. Still a great Bib knicker.
