Resistor Bootie

Designed for the cyclist pushing through the onslaught of wind-battered rain and chilly temperatures in transitional months and the beginning of winter, the Sugoi Resistor Bootie provides an ideal combination of lofty insulation and weather-resistance. PU-coated Resistor Fleece traps warmth from escaping while repelling oncoming rain and road spray from soaking your feet, only to leave them tingly and numb in the cold. Ultimately, this insulated, water-resistant design protects you from the elements, but without adding much in the way of mobility-reducing bulk or excess weight to the equation.

For easier entry and exit, the Resistor Bootie features an offset rear zip that facilitates quick on and off without rubbing your Achilles the wrong way. For even greater comfort, wrap-around seams ensure an irritation-free fit on the road, especially when you're riding long distances in foul weather. It's rounded out with an abrasion-resistant material along the toe, heel, and underside to prevent premature wear and tear, as well as a reflective heel pull for greater visibility and elastic cuff for a secure fit. Please note, the Sugoi Resistor Bootie is only compatible with three-hole road cleats.

Run Small

Size Bought:
XL

I have a size 46.5 road shoe, but the size XL was too small. Says it should fit 46-48, but quite a bit small for me. If they made an XXL that would probably work. I have an older pair of Sugoi covers size XL that worked great, but are wearing out now.

Great bootie

Just the right amount of warmth without being sweaty- worked great so far in rides down to upper 30's. Don't make my feet sweat like my old set. Only minor tweak I'd make is to the height up the ankle- seems longer than necessary. But very happy with these.

Toes warm but...

I raved about these booties to friends. Then I put them on for my fourth cold weather ride and noticed - gasp - a hole along the top seam of one of them. I'm not that good with needle and thread. Better with duct tape. Will see about returning them for a replacement.

Low profile, easy to put on, and durable so far (on my second season). With a mid weight wool sock, I'm comfortable down to 30 degrees. Can't comment on water resistance, but otherwise these are great winter shoe covers.
