I bought both these and the Firewall GT, which I also reviewed, at the same, time, searching for a cold weather bicycle commuting glove, for 20-40 F. Whereas the Firewall GT is a stellar option, these aren't, in my opinion.

First, these are pretty much just a thin spandex glove with minimal fleece backing. The wind goes directly through them, which makes them breathable, but not warm. They are plenty stretchy, but the sizing is weird. Whereas I ordered an XS in the GT, and that fit well, the XS in this glove was too small in the palm, and the fingers were at least a half inch too long. Very weird to get such inconsistent sizing.

I can see these being a good running or cycling glove for 45 F and up, where a little protection is nice and keeps your hands from getting windburned and cold, but definitely nothing for cold temps. Very similar to running-specific gloves.

The Firewall LT Glove is great for cool temperatures. It is a 9 oz fleeced fabric with waterproof fabric on the back of the hand. Firewall GT is a full waterproof shell with light insulation, (my favorite glove.) Great for cold rides. Firewall XT is our warmest glove. Heavy G100 Thinsulate. For the temperatures you are describing, I would suggest the GT Glove.
