Storck's Scentron G2 Road Bike Frameset quite visibly reflects the German manufacturer's dedication to maintaining the same stiffness-to-weight ratio across sizes. This results in what Storck calls proportional tubing, which results in tube shapes and diameters that made frames like the Scentron G2 one of the earlier adapters of giant, stiff tubing to ensure efficiency. This is especially welcome for those of us accustomed to the more flexible rides typically associated with large frame sizes. Despite its impressive power-transfer, the Scentron G2 uses compliant seatstays and a targeted layup to smooth disagreeable road surfaces like chip seal.
